Made from 2.2LB density polyethylene foam, this solution offers durability that is never too heavy or weighed down which makes it ideal for a wide range of applications. Closed-cell polyethylene cylinders come in a range of diameters and lengths widely used in masonry and concrete work as a backer rod to fill gaps between slabs before applying filler, saving time and materials. It can also be used in crafts or as padding or cushioning for unique projects. Being smooth, closed-cell foam, it is resistant to moisture. The small diameter of this tubing allows us to spool it for a continuous length, making it excellent for larger projects where consistency is important.

Polyethylene foam's chemically cross-linked construction renders it shatterproof, lightweight and cost-effective. Its superb strength, shock absorption, flexibility and tear resistance make it useful in many industrial applications. Additionally, it is impervious to mildew, mold, rot, bacteria and extremely buoyant for use in flotation equipment and other marine products.
